Molecular solid & Liquid of Hydrogen bond

The structure of ice provides further evidence of the importance of hydrogen bonding in molecular solid.each oxygen atom of a polar H2O molecule is tetrahedrally coordinated to four other oxygen atom in a structure that somewhat resembles that of diamond .Each oxygen atom is bound to its four neighbor oxygen atoms by hydrogen bonds. In two of these hydrogen bonds the center H2O molecule supplies the hydrogen atoms;in  the other two bonds the hydrogen atoms come from neighboring water molecules.Although the hydrogen bonds are relatively weak compared to typical covalent bonds, they are nonetheless improtant
